Abhishek: I'm Not A Strict Father To Aaradhya

After Bol Bachchan in 2012, Abhishek Bachchan and Asin Thottumkal have teamed up again for All Is Well. SpotboyE.com caught up with the two actors for a quick chat. Excerpts:
What made you give your nod to All Is Well?
Abhishek: Umesh called me and said that he wanted to narrate a script to me. I was on an outdoor shoot in Goa then. As luck would have it, OMG! Oh my God was being aired on television that night. I had not seen the film before, so I watched it. I loved it so much that as soon as I returned from Goa, I sat for the narration and the rest is history.
Asin, you'll be seen on the big screen after a long gap. Why don't we see you more often?
Asin: I was on a break but I had to say yes to this movie. I have done 24 films in my career so far and I wanted it to be my 25th. I wanted it to have that landmark status in my filmography because I loved the script.
Abhishek: I don't think it was a break. She did Khiladi 786 and then, she was working on All Is Well. As you know, the film was delayed, that's why it took her long to return to the screen.
This is the second time you two are working together after Bol Bachchan. Was it like a reunion on set?
Abhishek: We both were in touch, of course. However, the film was a reunion of sorts because I have worked with Chintu Uncle (Rishi Kapoor) in Delhi 6 and with Asin in Bol Bachchan. Even the DOP Sameer Arya is like my elder brother. So, it was great fun.
Rishi Kapoor plays a dominating father in the movie. Are you a strict father to Aaradhya in real life?
Abhishek: Unfortunately, I don't get to spend much time with Aaradhya because of work. I am always travelling. Of course, I have a darling of a wife who takes care and spends most of her time with Aaradhya. Aishwarya supports me to go out and work. But when I am with Aaradhya, I don't think I'm a strict father.
You also share a buddy-like rapport with your dad rather than the conventional father-son relationship...
Abhishek: Yeah, my dad is like my buddy. I share everything with him. There are times when I have just picked up the phone on him and said, "Hey buddy, what's up?" He has always been supportive and been there for me.
